TuneCloud Mobile

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

TuneCloud Mobile is a cloud music player developed by Murdock DevWorks LLC. It allows you to browse and play music stored in cloud accounts and servers you choose to connect. You do not need to upload your music to Murdock DevWorks to use the app.

1. Information stored on your device

To operate the app and maintain your preferences, TuneCloud stores information locally on your device, which may include:

The app uses your device's secure storage facilities for saved account information and authentication data. Playback queues and current playback state are maintained in app memory rather than as a permanent playback-history service.

2. Connections to your cloud providers

TuneCloud supports connections to services including Nextcloud, ownCloud, WebDAV/NAS, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and pCloud. When you choose a service, TuneCloud communicates with that provider or the server you configure to sign in, maintain authorization, browse files, and stream music.

Those providers may process account, authentication, device, and access information under their own terms and privacy policies. Murdock DevWorks does not control how third-party services handle information they receive.

For security, use HTTPS connections whenever possible. Generic WebDAV configurations may permit an HTTP address supplied by the user; an unencrypted connection may expose account or file-access information in transit.

3. Information collected by Murdock DevWorks

TuneCloud is not designed to send your saved cloud credentials, music library, playlists, favorites, or listening activity to Murdock DevWorks. We do not operate a TuneCloud music-hosting backend or use the app to deliver advertising or behavioral tracking.

Third-party authentication components and cloud providers may process information necessary to provide their services. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy disclosures. This policy does not describe information you may separately submit through the Murdock DevWorks website or when contacting support.

4. Removing saved information

The app provides controls for managing saved cloud connections:

Removing a connection in TuneCloud does not delete your files or close your account with the cloud provider. It also may not revoke an authorization already granted at that provider; use the provider's account security controls to revoke access if desired.

Uninstalling TuneCloud generally removes application data, but device backups or operating-system secure storage (including iOS Keychain) may retain some information. Uninstalling alone cannot be guaranteed to erase every saved credential.

5. Security and diagnostics

TuneCloud uses device secure storage for account authentication information. The safety of your connection also depends on your device security, cloud provider, and server configuration. Protect your device with a passcode and choose secure connections.

The app may produce local diagnostic messages relating to cloud requests or media playback. Such messages can include technical response details or names of files and folders. Avoid sharing device diagnostic logs publicly if they contain information you wish to keep private.

6. Children's privacy

TuneCloud is a general-purpose music player, not specifically directed to children. Murdock DevWorks does not intentionally collect children's personal information through a TuneCloud-operated service.

7. Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in TuneCloud's features, integrations, or data practices. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
